I’ve had a bit of difficulty in locating a good copy of this book which was reasonably priced.     Bought this camera for the Mrs as she had one before, was going to put the LCD in her one that she dropped but decided not to, it's in great condition, came untested as described, but by luck Mrs kept charger from hers and it is charging ok, was packed extremely well and received as promised.     Still early days

    I wanted a Sat Nav which could interact with Google maps to determine real time traffic conditions. I THINK that is what this does. I couldn't fathom how a Sat Nav could do this without maybe tethering to a phone but this does. It picks up traffic jams and delays but does it change my route accordingly "on the fly" ????. I haven't seen evidence of this just yet although it does certainly have a connection as it will display traffic problems. When first connected to my account it did quite a long update. (not a bad thing as it proves it is actually doing something). However it did demand extra memory before doing this. Fortunately I had a 32Gb Micro SD card to hand but without this the update wouldn't have been possible. Not sure if I would pay the £250 plus for the brand new latest version ...

    Preferred the GO 5000 over my GO 6000. More convenient size.

    Bought this TomTom to use while my GO 6000 was being repaired. I found that I preferred it to the bigger 6 inch version. Just as clear, but less bulky and intrusive. It's now my default TomTom.

    Modern SatNav

    This is sold as refurbished product and it arrived in a TomTom shrink wrapped box. Worked first time. It took a few hours on fast internet connection to fully update maps and live services. We already hand an account for a previous older unit so this was no different to last time we had a new TomTom a few years ago. It has lifetime map updates and Live services which is great. The only downside is the that speed camera service is only a trial and expires in 3 months. If this unit performs well. It has a new interface which is little different from out Live820. Boots quite quickly and is very sensitive as it was working indoors and not that close to a window. Good unit based on a week use this is nice piece of kit.
