      Neither a crash nor a ride, it is somewhere in between. Adds a little something that was missing from my minimalist kick/snare/hat kit. Will use it for home recording but not sure I'd take it to gigs.

      This Meinl,HCS crash/ride (brass alloy) cymbal is good. And for the price, its the least expensive!.Its also great for a novice to begin with. If you want to add a little prolonged "CRASH" sustained sound, add a Meinl cymbal (bead) sizzler..... and now its time to jam! ENJOY!
