    Pure nostalgia

    Callan was good from day one as these first episodes show. I have good quality TV & blueray player so I go for quality viewing usually but due to the age of this programme it has to suffer low quality picture viewing. The fact is the stories are so good you very soon dismiss this & just sit back to pure enjoyment. No bad language, sex or gore needed to subsidise a weak tale like so many today do.

    Pure nostalgia.

    Loved this series when it was first shown. Sure the picture quality is nowhere near modern standards and the storylines are a bit lame but at the time they were cutting-edge, and the next week's episode eagerly awaited. Pure nostalgia, love it !
