    i bought it out of Historical interest, living not too far from Leeds and seeing these quarry hill flats, and do remember the Tv series in 1970 , so it's nice to look back and see Actors of that period

    Yes, I do like Diana Dors. Coming from Sheffield, I understand the Yorkshire Humour and wording, which is present in this set. Wish there were subtitles as I am HOH, but one cannot always gets what tha want can tha? Anyway, glad to add this to my collection! Picture clear, and plays on my DVD Player. Thanks!

    Quarry Hill Leeds aka Queenie`s Castle.

    Classic comedy filmed in Leeds, some in B&W due to a technicians strike at the studio! Yes it was the 70s then and oh what magic those flats had and there were no doubt people like Queenie around in those days, so well depicted by Diana Dors. A great cast make for first class entertainment, but like the flats, Diana left us a long time ago, yet these discs bring memories of both flooding back! A must for anyone who remembers Leeds back then.
