    A great book to help understand and appreciate poetry by a former National Laureate.

    Donald Hall was one of the best professors I had at the university. He was a successful poet and shared his love of poetry. He taught the elements that can be found in poems so you felt comfortable and confident reading a poem. Donald Hall's prose is clear and precise. You will be rewarded by any time you spend with this book. I highly recommend it.
