    Packaged very well for shipping. Shipped promptly. Item is as described. Not the same quality as Portmeirion usual dinnerware but more a decorative piece. Although, expensive, seller did discount the item. It will add a mistletoe touch to my holiday table of Portmeirion mistletoe dinnerware.

    Yes, this Portmeirion line does seem to have a different production style. They purchased Spode and Royal Worcester about 15 years ago and (my opinion) they've incorporated some of those styles and earthware bases when enlarging their product line. I think it's beautiful. It's from an estate and I'd never seen one before.
