    Easy to view display and accurate weather readings

    This is one of my favorite weather stations. The display is large and clear making it very easy to view from across the room. All of the basic instructions for using the station are printed right on the back of the case. I like that it reports temperatures to one tenth of a degree. The remote sensor reports temperatures that are typically off my no more than 1 degree F when compared to my Davis Weather Instruments Vantage Vue weather station. One thing that I think could be improved is that the buttons across the top of the case are very easy to accidentally press when you are just handling the weather station. I have trained myself not to touch the top of the weather station so that I don't accidentally change a setting. Overall, this is a great weather station and I'm very pleased ...

    Review

    The product arrived faster than anticipated. Cudoes for that. The packaging was a pain in the butt. The little screws holding the packaging together were really tight and I stripped the heads trying to open. Had to remove the packaging to remove the screws. Not really happy with the unit. While the indoor and outdoor temps show up nicely, everything else is to dark. Can't read from a distance, even on the high setting. Also, you can not use it on the battery only mode. Need to press button to read. Readout only lasts for 10 seconds. For continuous lighting, you need to use the enclosed charger. If wall mounting, prepare to have charging cord showing. Knowing what I know now, would not have bought.
