Synopsis
Ignatiev traces the tattered history of Irish and African-American relations, revealing how the Irish used labor unions, the Catholic Church and the Democratic party to succeed in American. He uncovers the roots of conflict between Irish-Americans and African-Americans and draws a powerful connection between the embracing of white supremacy and Irish "success" in 19th century American society.

Fast shipping. Arrived wrapped in plastic to protect it. Price was good. The only issue I have is that it was listed as brand new but arrived with covers slightly damaged and brown spots on some pages. Overall though I'm not unhappy and would buy from this seller again.

Arrived in Perfect Condition because it was packaged well......in a heavier envelope inside one of those flimsy plastic ones. A+ for packaging. Good price as well. The mailman tried his best to mess things up since I also got several other packages (it was like Christmas!!), but the packaging saved the day. Would definitely buy from again. Superb seller!

I was wary at first with the image in the listing, but it arrived carefully packed and sealed with all the original inclusions. Shipping was also pretty fast. Good seller, would recommend. Thank you so much!
