    Makes an 11 year old plasma TV a new smart TV

    I used an HDMI cable to attach the Roku to my Samsung plasma tV and now i have more channels than I'll ever need. IN adddition I have Verizon Fios. So I'm all set. Right now I'm in the middle of 3 movies which I'm watching as the mood strikes: a 50s musical, a current drama, and the latest Woody Allen movie. I also watch home renovation, true crime detectives, and Dr. Pimple Popper. (True dermatology.) I have all my news programs set up and can, but haven't yet, connected my Spotify music from the computer.

    It is no faster than any other Roku device. Very disappointed in this because that was the reason I purchased it.

    This does not do anything to speed up your viewing experience. You are spending $99 for a beefed up remote basically. It's no different than any other Roku device. I am regretting buying it because I bought it for the feature that would make things move quicker. It's no different than the one I bought four years ago

    It works for me!!

    I love the voice remote features. I have been using the Roku Ultras for years. I like the fact that you can control your TV with the Roku app. Voice remote works well for opening up apps while you are using another app.I like the feature on the Roku that alerts me where my Roku remote is located by making a sound on my remote. You can download so many apps and it will restore your apps from previous roku. It works for me.

    The first & best Smart TV box

    I’ve been using Roku smart TV boxes ever since the Roku 2 in 2013. I also had a first generation 5 year old Roku TV & Roku 3 until recently. They were much slower than my Roku Ultra I got 2 years ago. So I bought a new one to replace the slow one in my Roku TV. It’s much better & faster than all of my older Rokus. So I highly recommend it.
