    Good solid roof rack. Weak instructions.

    Installation was relatively easy and it fit. All of the bolt holes lined up. The installation instructions were weak (one star reduction). The instructions assumed that the two roof racks were already assembled. In actuality, the ends and bars needed to be separately assembled using an unmentioned medium Phillips head screwdriver and (included) bolts and washers. Assembly note: the left and right roof rack bases are NOT identical; choose the one which lines up to the small bolt holes. During assembly I had to trim about 1/8" off of the rubber end on one of the bar ends to allow it to fully seat so that the bolt holes lined up. The other 3 bar ends seated without trimming. A rubber mallet is useful, but not required, for tapping the assemblies into place. When finished, the roof rack seems ...

    Spice Up Your CRV

    There aren’t many reviews on this product so I thought I’d give a rating of my own... These cross bars make my 2008 Honda CRV soccer mom car look way more sporty while giving some added usefullness to the otherwise unusable roof. Here’s some of the pros and cons of these cross bars: 1. They are heavy and sturdy quality. They could easily hold a roof-top carrier or some heavy object that may not fit in the cargo space. 2. They are (relatively) easy to install. While the directions aren’t super clear on how to install these bad boys, it’s pretty easy to see where the pieces go. You want to make sure you pay attention to which bar goes in the front and which side is which. Otherwise they will not fit. It’s also a pretty tight fit so make sure you don’t screw down ones side before making sure ...

    Was very pleased with quality and ease to install. Instructions were a little lacking but not to hard to figure out what to do with the parts they didn’t describe. It got my bike from Colorado to New York and I never felt like it was in any danger
