Excellent product. Highly recommend. Used to re polish my antique desk which had been damaged by a chemical product dripping onto it. I couldn’t afford to get it done professionally so had nothing to lose. Once sanded I applied several coats and rubbed in with light sanding in between coats. TBH I didn’t expect it to work but to my amazement it has come up with a great sheen. Looking closely you would know it’s not a professional French polish but it’s pretty good.

    It's worth a try.

    Having failed to get consistent results using traditional shellac French polish I tried this. Much happier with the results. It's worth investing in a decent fine haired brush otherwise you'll be plagued with brush hairs pulling out. You need to work fast and there isn't time to be lifting hairs from your newly brushed surface.
