Found to be a very useful piece of kit. Stable with excellent gripping capability. Sturdy construction and looks as it will be a companion for a good while. Only one suggestion, remove more of the sharp corners. As an apprentice I was told 10mins removing corners saves hours tending to cuts over the life of the tool!

When I opened the Triton box and removed the vice, the foot pedal was stuck fast, when I eventually released it, sprung back with such force, almost severing two of my fingers, I therefore would issue a warning to be extremely careful when attempting to free the foot pedal. There was also problems with the the legs, which were so stiff, that they were difficult to open causing the paint to scrape from their mountings, the ‘rubber vice jaws are of poor quality rubber, and in general the machine resembled engineering from 1950’s Russia ‘Crude and unrefined.

I found the product easy to set up and use, it doe`s exactly as advertised. it holds my work very firmly and securely and that is what I bought it for in the first place. Very pleased with it.

Arrived in good time but wasn't impressed with the quality of the product. It wasn't easy to erect and the foot clamp got jammed a couple of times. The rubber piece around the jaw had a fastener missing when it arrived so I had to improvise with a bolt and wing nut. On a plus side it does hold whatever you put in the jaws very tight and once you get it up it is quite stable.

I can't understand why I haven't seen and bought one of these before. Extremely versatile, especially for big things. Attached are some photos of a hedgehog house being built. The amount of movement on the clamping system is relatively small but very strong. The jaw is pushed up to the item to be held, then pressure is applied via the foot clamp. The hold/release "button" takes a bit of getting used to, but not much.
