Excellent replacement for a DC55 also.
This looks like it is a direct replacement for Dyson brush head motor. I used it to replace the motor on a DC55 brush head. The motor is identical but need to switch the plastic end plate(2 screws) and rubber cover, very easy to do. An easy DIY job but needing a few T-star bits down to T8.

Dyson brush motor replacement. EASY.
This replacement brush motor fitted perfectly and would be easy for anybody with basic DIY abilities. Two spade connectors and app six screws. Saved me at least £100 repair bill or £300 for a new Dyson. The vac now runs as good as new.

Motor fits dc25 perfectly
The brush had stopped turning on my Dyson dc25. Motor looked exactly the same as the original one, incl stickers. Relatively easy to fit so long as you have a small torx screwdriver. All works fine now!

Because it does exactly what it says on the tin. Mind you I had to take a couple of things of the new one and put a couple of things of the old one for it to fit, that was no problem, because I had the old one still, working a treat now.
