I bought this lens to be an almost permanent attachment to my Olympus E-M1 landscape camera. It's a very nice lens with a 35mm equivalent focal length of 24 to 120mm. Not too big or heavy. Nice and wide at the lower end, great for landscapes, and reasonably telephoto at the other for portraits, etc. Not exceedingly fast but do you really need that extra weight and bulk? Gives pretty good bokeh at the telephoto end at f5.6. Weather sealing is a great advantage too. Focusing is fast and silent and manualy focuses well. OK, I don't expect it's as good as Panasonic's Leica version but, at less than half the price, it could be the only lens you would need.

A great walk around lens with a nice range of 12-60mm, f/3.5 - f/5-6 (24-120mm in old 35mm film terms), It has Quick silent internal focusing and is well built with a metal lens to body mount along with a 58mm fitter thread, it‘s also not heavy in use and has a smooth twist type zoom action and fly-by-wire focus ring, Just missing any on-lens switches for OIS or AF selection. But this may play in the fact that this lens is weather sealed which is great on my Olympus EM1 as that‘s also weather sealed, Included is a lens cap and reversible lens hood, All in all a great all round lens. I am very happy with it. P. Bowers

I bought this for my Olympus OMD EM1and am very pleased with it, I find it as sharp as my Canon 24 to 105 L lens and is tiny and so light in comparison, okay, it feels a lot cheaper as it is mainly plastic but it is well made and has a metal mount. I can't coment on the IS as it doesn't work on my camera. Overal this a great general purpose kit lens, light with a decent zoom range.

A very useful range for city travel. Reasonably fast and sharp particularly at this price point. Mixed metal and plastic construction so not absolutely rock solid but the trade off is that is light to carry. Very happy to have this lens in my kit. Mint pre-owned lenses are available at below £170 so represent great value.

Weather sealed and very good optically covering wide angle to a 35mm equivalent of 120mm. It produces sharp and detailed images, better than the Olympus 12-50mm or Panasonig 14-140mm f3.5-5.6 which I had previously/ Highly recommended.
