The film follows a storyline from a book written by Hunter S. Thomson. This true story based movie, stars Johnny Depp, who plays as Raoul Duke, a Journalist, who goes to Las Vegas to cover a motorcycle race, with a lawyer, Dr. Gonzo (Benicio Del Toro). When Duke and Gonzo get drugs and indulge in an intoxication spree, they depict their characters perfectly, Depp being Thompson's alter ego while Del Toro, the crazy lawyer. This magnum opus film directed by Terry Gilliam, a master of bizarre visual imagery, will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout its duration.
