Always a fan of G Nash(Hollies) whilst buzzed when listening to the Byrds (D Crosby) and later, Buffalo Springfield (S Stills). I was prompted into buying the recording on cd having watched a TV programme on Lauren Canyon, Los Angeles, and the musicians who lived there in the late 60's and early 70's. Pure nostalgia
The debut album from CSN still sounds fresh , timeless folk rock melodies and vocal harmonies combine to send you back in time , to 1969 . Love the Marrakesh express track ,it's jaunty musical vibe , and lyrics about traveling by train under clear Moroccan sky's really does transform you to another country.
