Good quality product
This waterproof seems surprisingly heavy duty given its excellent price. Lucky for me I haven't had occasion to wear it yet and I haven't tried it on over both myself and my scooter but it looks as if it will be a good fit. Very impressed with the quality. Purchased one for myself and one for a disabled friend, who was also very happy with hers. As it is 'one size fits all' there seems to be no problem with sizing for either myself of my friend who is about two sizes bigger than me. It is not all that lightweight but since it is designed to cover both passenger and scooter all in one, I think the quality would suffer if they made it lighter than it is.This waterproof seems surprisingly heavy duty given its excellent price. This cover is not waterproof
During the first rain shower the seams leaked round the edge of the front plastic. The rain then started seeping through the blue plastic. I was soaked and very afraid the battery and electrics would get wet. The only area where this did not happen was where the clear plastic is. I brought a £1 poncho from Poundland to put over it to keep the rain out. A little too long
Having recently purchased a mobility scooter, my husband decided that he would need a cape to keep himself dry when it rained. The hooded cape ticked all the boxes, it is made of good quality waterproof material, covering himself, his scooter and back pack. The plastic front panel enables him to see the controls and when it’s not in use, the cape folds up to fit into his back pack. The only criticism he has, is that it is a little too long and great care has to be taken that it does not get caught in the wheels. However, he is very happy with his purchase and would recommend. Essential bit of kit.
A useful bit of kit if you are a scooter owner. A fair price, for a item that seem will last for ever. I always ride along with my shiz tzu "Rambo" and we are all dry now and RAMBO can still see wear we are going. Thank you for a good solid anď well thoughtful design
