    Best album ever made

I like digging into music and discovering how tunings hang together. Originality and virtuosity are the most rewarding things. This mostly ends up in 3 genre's, metal, jazz and classical. Of these jazz is the most expressive. This it the pinicle of jazz. It's beautiful to listen to, oozes class musicianship and the freedom miles Davis gives to his supporting musicians is amazing. I first listened to this on CD, then streamed it for a few years. This year santa bought me a turntable, this is the way this music was designed to be heard. Treat yourself 😁

  • Classic album on vinyl - great value for money

This album has sold 5 million copies for a reason. When it came out in 1959, it was not only a seminal moment in jazz, with a move towards modality away from a be pop style, but at the same time a bonafide crossover hit. The tracks are unique, original and accessible; the composition, arrangements and playing peerless. Now out of copyright (I presume), this is not a Columbia reissue, but the quality of the 180 gsm is excellent. All in all, a great listening experience.

  • New produc,t good value

New pressing sealed in cellophane. Heavy pressing, like the earlier vinyl records. not lightweight which almost always distorted.

  • Miles better on vinyl

Excellent quality vinyl complements this exceptional album from a Jazz legend. Wonderful improvisation and the combination of Davis and 'Trane' will give you goosebumps. Great stuff.
