  • Most favourable review

Weighty Political drama webbed throughout our Human Society.

Orwell was presumably pschic. The daily scream at the enemy is highly appropriate re: moder media The nameless, endless war that excused the authoirity from helping it's People and required unending emergency powers. I read this around 1990 when I was 16 and it has become more relevant each time I lift my head to think clearly. Huxley is good too.

  • Most critical review

Incorrect condition listed but does the job

Listed as 'Very Good' condition but very battered and pages covered in writing, references and annotations. Obviously very well used by a student. Would not describe this as 'Very Good'!

  • Loved this book

Great value - a classic novel so enjoyable to read through again and for the price of a bag of chips

  • a book to reflect on

a book i just kept hearing about.really enjoyed the read and made one reflect on our modern world and its direction.yes we should worry and do not give away our freedoms as readily as we do.beware the mind control.
