    Comfort is key to cycling

    I've used Cinelli gel before and wanted it again for a new bike. Hand comfort is very important for most riders and this material is very comfortable and easy to use.

    Nice Addition for the Price

    Given the cost of these gel pads I would say that it is worth the upgrade. Can definitely see a noticeable difference in the fatness of the tape with the pads underneath & no complaints re. numbness in the hands/arms after a 3 hour ride. However, I've yet to test them on really uneven road surfaces, but imagine they will do the same job

    extra comfort

    These gel pads are excellent value and provide that little bit of extra comfort when on rougher roads. The shape and size of them means they are best fitted on the drops. If fitted on other areas of the bars they may produce a lump which may then be uncomfortable. So far they have been great.

    Easy to fit and good value

    Good value and easy to fit. Good tip I got from another reviewer - if you place a set of the pads on the top bars face them towards your shoulders rather than facing upwards. In this way you are placing the pads where your hands will feel the pressure/vibration;

    gel grips as good as energy gels!

    If you're old school, they're great for fattening up the drops for sprinting or the tops for gravel, cobbles or those horrible ridged concrete roads. A much better solution than gel mitts
