More Secure With The Real Thing
I did a lot of looking about this device. Probably more than I should have. But there were various opinions on this product from various vendors. After reading so many reviews, I decided to go with the actual Moen brand since I knew it would work. The price was good and I knew it would be of good quality. So I was not disappointed with the quality nor value of the device. It worked as expected and I have no regrets buying the Moen product. I did a lot of looking about this device. Probably more than I should have. But there were various opinions on this product from various vendors. After reading so many reviews, I decided to go with the actual Moen brand since I knew it would work. The price was good and I knew it would be of good quality. So I was not disappointed with the quality nor value of the device. It worked as expected and I have no regrets buying the Moen product.

Works well, easy to use. Do it yourself and save $$$ over calling a plumber.
Works well, easy to use. Made pulling out a ~20 year old cartridge easy with very minimal effort. Replacing a cartridge is something that most people that are handy around the house can do themselves without having to call a plumber. If I didn't have the cartridge puller, it would have been quite a struggle to get the frozen old cartridge out.

Makes changing cartridges easy for even me!
Bought one of these several years ago. I never used it until today. I needed to replace a Moen 1225 for my shower. I watched three YouTube videos. This tool screws onto the old existing cartridge so you can pull it straight out. Very secure probably more than a strong man using Channel Locks. It also helped me correctly align the new replacement cartridge so the retaining pin would side on and the retaining pin is mandatory. My tool is well made and finished, easy to use and invaluable especially if your old cartridge is stuck.Bought one of these several years ago. I never used it until today. Moen tools the best!
After trying several cheaper versions of this tool by other manufacturers I purchased the genuine Moen version. It is much stronger than the lesser quality ones and will save you from damaging your pipes by brute force struggling to get a stuck cartridge out - it is worth every penny!

Gets the job done
We bought this to replace the cartridge - the most difficult task was to get old one off. This unit helps but you still need luck in order not to break the valve stem. Once it's broken, you would have no choice but to call a plumber.
