A glossy review
I've used Rustins varnish many times in the past and have always been pleased with the result. It comes in a variety of shades, dries quickly and builds up nicely to a super deep glossy (or satin or matt) smooth finish. On this occasion, I applied it using a kitchen greenie/sponge attached to a piece of flat wood with velcro hooks glued to it as a handle. A chinese take-away tub with a flat bottom served as a receptacle. Application was easy and rinsing the "tools" between coats was a doddle just using warm soapy water.I've used Rustins varnish many times in the past and have always been pleased with the result.
