Although the calculator stated that I would need 1.5 m of the 500mm mesh per silencer ( so I bought 3m) I needed only 1m per oval can. The inserts smelt of burning plastic for the first 2 runs then no smell. The result is louder than I had hoped for but the nasty harsh edge has now gone from the exhaust note. This is a well made product. Aprilia Caponord ETV with homemade SS cans.
