Delivered earlier than expected in perfect condition. This rubber cleaning block looks just like any eraser you’d find in a child’s school bag, I can’t tell the difference. But, after sharpening 5 chisels recently with my new diamond sharpening plate I immediately on receipt wiped it over the plate & was amazed. The amount of gunk that came off was incredible. Something so simple yet so effective & for less than 2 quid, absolute bargain. Can highly recommend this excellent eBay seller ��

Simple idea for stunning results
This little cleaning block looks just like any pencil eraser you’d find in any school kids pencil case. I can’t tell the difference. After sharpening my chisels with my new diamond plates I wiped them clean (or so I thought) & put them away. When this little cleaning block arrived I thought I’d give it a go. So I gave the 400 grit plate a wipe & wow! It changed colour, the amount of gunk that came off was astonishing. I quickly cleaned my other plates with the same results. Apparently the material (dwarf) taken off by the diamond plate mixes with the lapping fluid & leaves a film that can impair sharpening. This little rubber bad boy makes quick work of removing this film leaving your plates in perfect condition ready for the next time you need to sharpen. I can’t believe how something so ...
