Needing a reasonably quiet fan for my home office, I tried this one. It's a local company. It's a great fan. It works perfectly & is quiet enough to be on calls when it's on. It is made of plastic & it needs to be on the level when oscillating. This is the same for all tower fans, as at the end of the oscillation they can make a grinding noise. This fan doesn't make that noise. They do not tilt like round fans, so put it on a desk level with you body or only your feet will be cooled.

We've found, as a single fan, it's most effective in smaller rooms (we have it in the bedroom) or it works well in tandem with another fan in larger rooms.Delivered quickly, good quality and does what it says on the tin.Happy with what we got for £26 and free delivery.
