      If you haven't seen this, please find a way to. I bought this as a gift for a Friend who is preparing to go to Israel. This is a thorough telling of the amazing story of the beginning of modern Israel AND the Israeli Air Force. Complete with original newsreel footage and detailed interviews with those who were there, the recreation and telling of the story is vivid and moving. There are also special features, as well. It fascinated me how they used a handful of leftover German junk planes pieced together with the wrong engines to take on that whole part of the world to keep their land... and won! A true underdog story... Produced by Nancy Spielberg, the youngest Sister of Steven, this really is a must-see for anyone interested in History,Aviation,Israel... or really- just ...
