    Yummy bacon without the flipping and popping

    I like microwaving bacon in the Nordic Ware bacon rack with lid because it cooks on its own without flipping the bacon over or dodging grease popping. The bacon odor is less as well since the bacon is cooked in a covered microwaveable dish. I give it 4 stars because the bacon leave cooked on spots on the rack making it somewhat time consuming to clean well.

    Nice consistent cooking

    I've tried a few other microwave cookers, and this one gives me nice flat pieces with consistent texture. The instructions advise 1 minute per slice, but I got perfect results cooking thick bacon 2 minutes per slice. The big detractor is that cleaning is a nightmare, even after soaking for a couple hours and scrubbing with a brush, there were still areas I needed to scape. Dishwasher cleaned it perfectly after i removed 90% of the gummy grease. I'm going to try using a paper towel under the bacon to hopefully make it easier.

    No mess bacon finally

    I love this bacon cooker . Easy to clean and has a lid to catch all the splattered grease . I had to cut the bacon in half to fit in it correctly but that is no problem . Well worth the cost and it arrived so quickly . I will never be without one of these and will be buying more for gifts ! Makes bacon cooking so much easier .

    This is awesome I love my bacon this cooker is so easy and the best thing it doesn't splatter grease all over, no clean up from a mess on the stove. It is made very well and sturdy. I will be making hot dogs in it soon!
