    Standards In Silhouette - Kenton, Stan (CD 1998)

    Great sound from an arranger I was not familiar with. I have a lot of Kenton LP's and CD's including some re-releasesfrom Mosaic. This CD had some songs I had never heard from Kenton and was curious. It was recorded in 1959. The arranger is not one of Kenton's usual group. The mood is more subdued than the usual Kenton and has a very lush sound. I'm sure I will be listening to this frequently.
