    Buy Threaded Aluminum Shocks!!!

    Purchased these thinking this would be a better alternative to threaded aluminum shocks on my SCX24 but I was totally wrong. Although these look nice on the outside they have Zero to Little flex. I replaced the Hard springs with the Soft ones provided but they are also pretty stiff. You can clip the spring a little to soften them. They don’t want have as much travel as regular shocks. Overall I would say stick with the PowerHobby, CR18 or any Threaded Aluminum Shocks.

    Best for heavily weighted crawler. Even the lighter springs reduce articulation. Pretty sure it would work better with enough weight on the vehicle. May swap them back in if I add more weight.

    Looks good, performs bad.

    They look nice but perform far worse than the stock shocks. Even the soft springs are too stiff and would cause rollovers just rolling front wheel up something. Skip these if you are looking for any sort of performance upgrade.

    Great little shocks... Spring rate too high!

    Spring rate too high for Axial SCX24... even with using the black springs. Need to find softer springs!!!
