Great multi purpose light with high output
This is the best multi-purpose light Makita made in a while. It has 3 modes: spot, flood and a combination of both. Spot mode really enables you to light up your co-worker on a ladder 20 meters up, from the ground! Flood mode is bright enough to light up your whole working area. It will last roughly 5 hours on a single charge of a BL1850(B) battery. The head can be swiveled and clicks in a number of positions. One small addition would have made it the perfect all-around light: there's no way to dim the output. You either get nothing or you get ALL, which is a serious amount of light. For close-up work, take another light: this one is TOO BRIGHT for that application! But that's not what is was made for, so that's just a minor issue. Bottom line: get it! Very useful portable work light
This is a great piece of kit! It has a sturdy case with a useful hanging hook. I have been cnsidering getting a site light for a while now and this ticks all the boxes for me! It is not cheap but with Makita you definately get what you pay for!
