Mixer valve for non standard pipe interfaces.
I needed a new mixer valve and as I found out my previous one did not have the standard feed pipe spacing of 150 mm. This restricted my choice and my hot and cold feed pipes were the wrong way round. I overcame this by mounting the valve upside down i.e. with the feed coming out of the top. In my case this was no problem as the out put was fed to a diverter valve and overhead Rose and flex hose with hand held shower head. It also enabled me to incorporate a soap dish in the vertical feed adapter. My hot feed is boosted buy an electric pump which is switched on by a flow sensor. In my system the use of a thermostatic control is a disadvantage, as under certain setting coditions the system can go into oscillation with the pump switching on and off. Very simple replacement for upgrading your shower
With the option to use different width elbows, this valve will for a variety of fixed inlet connections from 115 to 150mm with no difficulty. Works straight out of the box and with a single turn to the left (anti-clockwise) you can select the desired temperature and the valve will keep it at that temperature even if there is a change in the inputs.

Components of this product feel really well engineered and the chrome finish seems good. Fantastic that the distance between the pipes is adjustable. One tap serves to turn it on and adjust the temperature, which is the only reason I have given it 4 and not 5 stars. Would happily fit one again.
