    Good basic smartphone . . .

    I really enjoy using this phone and, as someone new to android smartphones, it was simple enough that I was able to work out how to use it, and how to access everything I needed to. The battery life isn't as long as I'd expected, but it does stay powered up long enough for my occasional trips into town, and that's what's important to me. All-in-all, this is a great basic smartphone :)

    Nokia 1 with Android Go runs smoothly on 1gb of ram because its a slimmed down secure version of Android 8.0 Oreo.

    As this is a slimmed down very secure version of Android 8.0 this phone works really well with no lag. It has 8gb of internal storage that can easily be extended by a micro SD card upto 32gb to put apps onto as well as photos and videos etc. Phone will not run massively hungry graphic games but runs subway surfers angry birds temple run ok. The 1.3 GHz quad core processor works really well on Android go and the Google play store actually recommends the slimmed down apps to better install. Plus this phone fits in any pocket which is a massive boost :) Ring tone is loud enough also.
