    The only real game in town for an M3 37 mm anti-tank gun

    This is a very delicate kit. Using the actual Army TM 9-1245 for comparison it appears to be very accurate (as much as possible) in 1:35 scale. It is definitly not a toy. I wish it could be convertible from travel to deployed position. Assembly is a challenge.

    Over-engineered kit.

    PRO: Extremely detailed; lots of very small / fine parts. Nice sheet of p/e parts. CON: The 37mm gun is a very simple / straight-forward subject. Like other Bronco models I've built, it gets its fine detailing from an excess of small parts that could have been molded as a single part (e.g. the gun-shield supply box is FIVE (5) parts, it should've been molded in one piece. The gun itself is thirteen parts (13) which could've been molded as no more than four parts.) All this turns a simple kit-build into a full blown project. Still, if you're into finely detailed scale models, this builds into a real beauty.

    Challenging Details

    Photo etch parts are good to a point and do add fine detail to the model. However, several of the photo etch parts are so tiny they are almost impossible to affix. I would have preferred that those specific tiny parts had simply been included on the mold of the larger parts to which they belong.
