I needed a pocket sized monocular with good 10× magnification and this one caught my eye well constructed, good quality lens clear images , only gripe is eye relief cool be a bit more generous. But all over its a great monocular it's a keeper

Great monocular, sucky case...
I really love this monocular. The price point is a big plus with me. It's lightweight and very powerful for its size and reasonably inexpensive... I have never had to take advantage of the warranty that comes with all Vortex products but I hear that the service is flawless, but that's just hearsay... Sure it's not a $400.00+ Zeiss, but if I damage or lose it while on a hike, I'm not going sit in the middle of the path and cry like a baby either... The case could use some improvements though. Water tight would be great but it should at very least be a sealed, padded, pouch with a neck carry option. I am going to give this monocular a reluctant 4 stars, only because the case is kinda sucky...I really love this monocular. The price point is a big plus with me. I bought this monocular for kayak camping to find camp sites. It's magnification will accomplish that. The view could be brighter, however. You get, what you pay for.

Compact monocular works great. Very clear. I don’t have to remove my glasses to use it so it’s very convenient. Focus knob is a little stiff but I’m sure that will loosen up as I use it more.
