Exactly as described except the first 50 pages had been torn out. Good price if it had been a complete book. Prompt shipping. Seller promptly and without hesitation or having to return the book, refunded me in full. I will (and have) used again.

  • ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL

THE AUTHOR HAS DONE A GREAT JOB, SORTING THROUGH RUMOURS & MYTHS, TO GIVE YOU A FACTUAL ACCOUNT OF THIS MAN & HIS ADVENTURES. THIS TRUE STORY IS MORE EXCITING THAN THE FICTIONAL ADVENTURES OF CAPTAIN BLOOD !! THIS PORTRAIT OF A VERY COMPLEX, DARING AND BRAVE MAN IS HARD TO PUT DOWN. THIS BOOK IS A MUST READ FOR ANY WARTIME NAVAL HISTORY BUFFS. BOBBYCAV

  • Extraordinary!

I remember the Revell kit of the Seeadler, and trying to blow it up in the creek. This book gives a wonderful tale of adventure, chivalry, and courage on the open seas of World War 1. Using a sailing ship to raid enemy ships and evading the British blockades and hunter task forces sent to sink her, this is a maritime tale easily on par with Patrick O'Brian's tales...only true.
