      Record, good brand

      good little vice, does what i want, be no good for large projects but then i dont need that, but for small jobs great, well made, used few times and yes, works well, love it.

      A nice vintage record no 2 vice

      This is a well made vintage bench vice from the days when most tools were made in great Britain unlike the cheaper equivalent vice that is imported from the far east nowadays. It dates from the 1950s/60s and will probably last a lifetime. Very happy.

      Irwin Record Pro Entry Mechanics Vice 100mm (4") RECPEV1

      Food clean casting and well machined jaws and the anvil which is a good size and well shaped. I can only well recommend it - my work is not heavyweight although I do a bit of rivetting. I would say for the DIY-er it would fit well on your bench. Very well priced for the product.
