    Corrosion Issues

    This filter is made to trap moisture, yet it will corrode beyond repair from the very moisture it traps. Motor Guard "suggests" you open it up ~ once a week to let it air out. Really? How about you make a filter housing that won't corrode. My 2nd water trap most often has standing water in the sight glass, and it still looks like new inside. Different manufacturer. And to make it worse, during a telecon with a Motor Guard rep, she advised they do not sell separately the lower half of the filter housing. So I had to purchase an entire ass'y again. Then I get a tool magazine in the mail and this company (This Particular Tools company) sells just the lower half. When a distributor is selling the lower half only of a filter housing it confirms two things, there is a problem and I am not the ...

    Motor Gourd m60

    One of the best filters I have utilized. High cfm flow. Only downside is 125 psi max rated. Very few people need higher psi than this however. Combined with mc-100 you get dry clean solvent free air!
