Great value for money, highly recommended.
Quite simply, if you have a British army, this is the book you need. As well as generic "Reinforced" platoons which can get you started and include a wonderful variety from the whole period, there are theatre specific lists which provide more interest. Production is typical of the Osprey books, paperback, glued spine, pretty pictures, not exactly durable archive material, but perfectly serviceable. Research is good given its length, pictures illustrate well but a painting guide in the style of FOW publications would have been useful. Would I recommend? Obviously. The rest of this series (I have them all) are exactly the same format, presentation etc and manage to balance the "Let's just get on with the game" ethos with an appetiser for other units.Quite simply, if you have a British army, this is the book you need.
