great splitter
I use this one to feed my guitar to the main PA and to a small amplifier as my amplifier does not have an output jack. It would be natural to plug the male end tomy guitar, and have two instruments cables plugged into the female ends. So my guitar will have TWO cables connected to it, kind of weird looking. I found that I can plug the male end into my guitar amp, then the two females ends act as both input (connected to my guitar) and output (connected to main PA system. This is a much better way to connect things and IT IS A GOOD & INEXPENSIVE WAY to add and output to any amplifier that has no OUPTUT jack.I use this one to feed my guitar to the main PA and to a small amplifier as my amplifier does not have an output jack. Hard to find a good one- but it works when you do.
It's a simple splitter- when it works, it works- but the problem is the packaging. I had to buy 3 of these before I found one that wasn't bad from being wadded up in the packaging for too long. Finally got a fresh one that wasn't old and dried out- then it turned out not to be what I needed anyway. That said- if you need to split a mono signal into 2 mono signals- just find one that's not too old and it should work for you. It's a simple splitter- when it works, it works- but the problem is the packaging. I had to buy 3 of these before I found one that wasn't bad from being wadded up in the packaging for too long. Finally got a fresh one that wasn't old and dried out- then it turned out not to be what I needed anyway.
