The pokemon card I bought was a fake, clearly you can see the borders do not align with the card properly

Borders aligning is not a sign of a fake card, centering on cards are not perfect form card to card especially with WOTC . This card, like all stock are verified when received in and checked when picking and when packed by another person. I've contacted you directly to advise on how to tell if cards are authentic or not. I would and have not shipped fake cards to any of my customers. As mentioned I've made contact to you directly to try and assist further and to provide guidance on the matter.
