Ordering from Puffin Fever Collectables was a wonderful experience. The books shipped quickly and arrived generously packaged and in perfect condition. But beyond that, Puffin Fever Collectables offered outstanding service. I had inadvertently requested that the books be sent to an old address, but the seller worked with me to find a mutually beneficial solution to the situation, prompting a genuinely pleasant conversation in the process. Thank you so much, and best wishes for the future!

I am so impressed with this Seller! Response was fast and the item shipped quickly. It arrived with very neat and secure packaging - I could tell it was done with care and pride. The condition of the book itself was exactly as described and the price was great. Will definitely do business with this 5-Star Seller again.

The items were every bit as good as advertised, worth every penny, packed as well if not better than any items ever delivered to me, in an envelope marked with a fragile sticker, and delivered in record time. The seller’s care and attention to protecting the items against damage is unusual and very impressive! Many thanks!

I was looking to read up on 19th century nyc and when I got the book I decided to just start at the beginning. And that was a smart decision :) The story of this great world city is more than I had any inkling it would be. These co-writers took 20 years to put it together and they do not pack with filler. Everything is new on each page...

  • The Only & Sole History Book one should Read if they live in New York City or

Gotham is the only sociological and historical book that has ever been written by any Historian/Author. It is written in a marxist historical sense. I mean “marxism” with a small “m” because how the Authors write extensively about the variety classes in the development of NYC, emphasizing its the class struggle and enlightening readers to important figures from history that would be otherwise left out entirely from textbooks or overshadowed by some popular political or wealthy figure of the era’s. This Book deals with NYC at its very beginnings and despite concluding at 1898 it will still leave a vast imprint and a massive historical impact on NYC History and its cultural history as the countries de facto Capital and a non autonomous City State in its own right
