Whether you're a Ferengi businessman obsessed with the pursuit of profit or simply a mid-grade "Trekkie" that liked Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, this little book is a brilliant coffee-table conversation starter! Taken driectly from quotes in the series, this volume comprises the "confirmed" Rules of Acquisition as told by famous Ferengi businessmen such as Quark, Rom, Nog, Brunt, and Grand Nagus Zek. Each page contains either a full bold-text numbered rule for (optimal quotability) or a black and white photo reproduction of a relevant screen capture of your favorite Ferengi charmingly illustrating the Rules of Acquisition in action! The unfortuante downsides to this otherwise excellent collection are the paired facts that it collects only the rules that were divulged during the course of ... However, for the hard-core fans, Behr was kind enough to include a section in the back that allows fans to fill in further rules (and their appropriate numbers), in an effort to let the book take on a "modular" life of it's own. All in all, this book is fantastic, and will fascinate even the most fickle of Ferengi fans!

shame it is so incomplete
I bought this thinking it would be fun to read through ALL the rules of acquisition. this was a bit disappointing. The book was not the complete rules of acquisition as I had hoped. a good portion of the pages were taken up by poorly printed black and white photos from the show. photo inserts would have been amazing if they were full color but these looked like over saturated photo copies. The rules that were included in the book seemed to only be the ones spoken out loud in the show. this is a definite pass for ferengi fans and fans of deep space nine.I bought this thinking it would be fun to read through ALL the rules of acquisition. this was a bit disappointing. Valuable Acquisition for "ST: Next Generation" Fans
Very small, but with all the Ferengi "Rules of Acquisition" listed in sequence, one per page. Those I checked were faithful to ROAs mentioned in the original TV series.
