Are you running out of steam?
Great replacement item that is a must for anyone with a russell hobbs steam iron. Check under the iron for the model number to ensure you purchase the correct part, slide out the old filter & put the new one in- done! You will need this part (on a regular basis) as the filter is non-servicable & clogs up fairly frequently, as such, this means it needs to be changed to keep the unit functioning correctly. If you've noticed a loss of steam then this is the reason. The iron will work without changing the filter..just without the steam function & could fail eventually anyway, so for the sake on £10-£12 it's worth doing! I did notice that the O ring seal didn't seal as tightly as the original but maybe it expands over time, the iron is now working fine so all good!Great replacement item that is a must for anyone with a russell hobbs steam iron.
