Hilarious but lovely!
Bridget Jones is back! And she's funnier than ever, having ended up with Mark Darcy at the end of the first film sadly the edge of reason sees her and Mark split up, prompted mainly by, you guessed it Marks old frenemy Daniel Cleaver. Bridget goes to Thailand on assignment with best friend Shazza (Sally Phillips) in tow who is given a gift of a snake fertility bowl by the much younger man she's sleeping with in Thailand, Jez played by EastEnders Paul Nichols, has put several kilo's of white powder inside and Bridget is promptly arrested and incarcerated in a Thai women's prison, (she's getting cruise post cards from her parents) Shazza rushes back to England and asks Mark for his help, he helps set Bridget free has Jez arrested and Bridget is returned home safe and sound, there is a nice ... Bridget Jones is back! And she's funnier than ever, having ended up with Mark Darcy at the end of the first film sadly the edge of reason sees her and Mark split up, prompted mainly by, you guessed it Marks old frenemy Daniel Cleaver. Yay! Neil dudgeon (midsomer murders) is really quite funny as the black cab driver! You will love this film, Bridget Jones will go down in history as queen of the chick flicks! Enjoy, I know will again and again!

Bridget Jones edge of reason
Seems strangely dated now !! much the same as the previous film. That said passes the time pleasantly enougth, but a few hours later it is allready forgotten! The actors revise there roles well and one assumes got paid a fortune for doing so! They all seem smug, no doubt the thought of there wage packets helps ! I would be smug too !
