    This is a great book, full of sound, practical advice for every sheepherder. It discusses virtually every aspect of sheep husbandry, and the information is so good that I'm changing a few of my practices. It's also very well written, so consequentially is a pleasure and easy to ready

    Storey's Guide to Raising Sheep

    Excellent! Completely updated and over 400 pages. So much information, and a good read, too. Lots of detailed sketches, so you can actually see what you're reading about. An entire section is devoted to the different breeds of sheep, complete with black and white photos. The Products and Marketing chapter explores a lot of different outlets for products from your flock, and shows many different ways to market those products. I like this book because it explains just about everything about sheep. Shearing, lambing, fencing, feed, housing, you name it, it's in there. Keep a copy in the barn for quick reference, or by your chair for reading any time. This book is a must for anyone who raises sheep.

    Love this book

    This book is amazing! It has everything you might need to know about raising sheep. Our first lambing experience and we ended up having to pull two lambs. We had this book out there with us helping us every step of the way. I would highly recommend this book if you are going to raise sheep.
