Marvellous Meldrew!
Very funny. Not a bad episode in the entire box set. I did not get this programme when I was younger but now at 55 I can associate and sympathise a lot with Victor and understand some of his frustrations with everyday life. I recommend this highly.

They also miled me saying it had been dispatched on a 48hr Tracked delivery, 48hrs had passed and nothing, then suddenly it appeared as dispatched on the day I messaged them, asking where it was ! I received my order with one dvd disc missing, I messaged them and never got a reply. Return opened, being sent back in a couple of days. One Foot In The Grave gives thousands of feet of fun
"One Foot In The Grave" has to be one of those iconic comedy programmes that, like Morecombe and Wise, will live on and be refered to as an example of "funny" comedy for yeras to come. You may ask why I have then only given this product 4 out of 5 for its overall rating ? It is great to have all of the series in one smart box but two things draw it back. One is that it is missing several Christmas specials, which I fortunately have in my collection already, and the second is the poor quality of the recordings. Some of the programmes look as though they were recorded straight from a low quality video to a DVD and look very grainy in places and one in particular has tram lines down the screen like you would get on an old movie. The same can be said about the "Not Going Out" boxed set I ... But it is nice to have a complete set that you can pick up and select whichever programme you want to watch quite easily without having to search through a collection of individual items which is what I was faced with each time I wanted to find a particular one to watch. That is the main reason for getting a boxed set, putting it all in one place and hopefully improving you viewing experience. I am biased I am afraid as this is my sort of humour, real life with a lots of comedy moments, written perfectly, performed brilliantly and made to entertian without having to look for a reason why. The cast are brilliant with characters we have all met at some time in particular Victor Meldrew, the constant voice of anxiety and disaproval at almost every occurance and I think many people will have told some one they know they are a "Victor Meldrew" I would reccomend this to any one, there is no bad language, its entertaining and it will make you laugh unless.................your name is Victor Meldrew.

Very Funny Sitcom
It's the funniest sitcom since Fawlty Towers combining a mixture of fun and pathos. Victor gets irritated by all the things we find annoying.

I'm a big fan of British comedy, i do have Keepin apperiances and now this one, they both are very good. This one is a bit more salty and for more mature audiences.
