      Does the job but some reservations

      This product did the job for me but I have some reservations until I try it on longer brads. I looked on the USA Amazon where many more second fix guns have been sold and the De Walt had better reviews than the Makita. I bought this gun as 1. All my other tools are Makita and so have the batteries 2. I wanted to bead in 28 small sheets of glass in a summer house with 15mm brads and the De Walt do not take that small a brad ranging up to 50mm which I will need for other jobs. The gun did jam a couple of times but it was very quick to clear it. It is heavy but I got used to it.

      Making brad nailer

      Misfires quite a bit , depth of pin varies when pinning mdf , not a bad bit of kit but the dewalt one is better as some of the lads on site have them and not had no misfires or depth problens

      Sauna

      I have just built a sauna using this, it's had over 2000 32mm stainless steel brads through it and not once a misfire. It's a little bit heavy for ceiling work but in general it is a great bit of kit. Another Makita product in my collection.
