DELIVERY
At SPARES2GO, we offer free fully tracked economy delivery for all UK orders and localities. WARRANTY and RETURNS
Each spare part is covered by a comprehensive 6 month warranty. Should your product(s) arrive damaged by the carrier or faulty, we will either issue a replacement or refund your item(s) free of charge for you. All items sold are new & unused unless otherwise stated and should therefore be returned in the same saleable condition. We will accept any items back for refund if they are returned to us in original, unopened packaging and are in an unused condition - complete with original untarnished packaging (boxes and packaging must also be returned in the same saleable unblemished condition). Refunds will be made of the purchase price paid if returned within 60 calendar days of receipt. Returns postage and packaging costs should be met by the buyer unless the item is either damaged or faulty. If goods are damaged or faulty please notify us through eBay messaging to enable us to issue you with a pre-paid returns label. Once we have received your item using the pre-paid returns label a refund will then be given unless a replacement has been issued prior to return. All goods returned must be arranged prior to sending via the eBay messaging service. This will enable us to assist you more thoroughly with your request and to deal with any difficulties. Refunds will only be issued if the buyer encloses within the return a copy of the purchase invoice, a brief explanation as to why the item is being returned, and also their eBay user name, ID and home address.     tricky to fit but works very well in my flymo

    I received the product in 3 days. It was 40mt of line cutted in 5mt. May I say it was dificult to put in the spool because seems to be a bit thicker once inserted I secured it in the spool spaces with not problem. However I did same operation for more than an hour as the problem was the wire came out of the spool when trying to insert in the flymo between the 2 silver clips for each end of the strimmer line. It was not easy but I managed to do rather than passing between the clips doing thorugh the hole between the silver clips -like when you tried to insert thread into a needle-. I have a flymo trimmer & power contour 500 and I was very satisfied with the job done. It cut the grass very well and the contour as well. Just be carefull as it is very powerful.     Not fit for purpose

    OEM FLY021 strimmer wire is held in the spool by a wax type adhesive in order to keep tension in the spool and to stop it un-raveling. The picture in the listing shows this type of wire (red with integral thread re-enforcement). What was delivered was the aftermarket (blue) wire with no adhesive which unravels by itself and tangles itself in knots after only minutes of use. I have experienced this with the very cheap replacements in the past. This product is fit for purpose for a Flymo Contour 500XT (for which FLY021) is the recommended replacement part.

    Excellant

    Was dubious about buying spurious strimmer cord after buying some blue stuff once and spent more time rethreading than strimming because of breakages. Have to say though I have used this stuff now and its just as good in my opinion as the genuine article, will definitely buy again.

    Although very good value, with excellent service, I find it very difficult to take the spool off to rethread it when it breaks. My last strimmer, although the same, I didn't have the same problem.
