Konami returns to its rhythmic roots with Rock Revolution, a music game modeled after Rock Band and Guitar Hero: World Tour. Rock Revolution features four ways to make music: drums, guitar, bass, and vocals. Instead of using instrument peripherals to keep the rhythm, the DS version involves tapping the stylus for each part. The cartridge features 20 licensed songs in an assortment of game types, including both cooperative and competitive play supporting up to four would-be musicians.<br><br>Solo players have a choice to "Rock Out" or earn a living in the "Career Mode." The former lets you play a single song, while the latter involves guiding your band from its humble beginnings in its bid to become a chart-topping success. You'll be able to perform at multiple venues, each of which can be customized with fireworks displays, laser shows, and more. Combos initiated during each song will allow your character to unleash moves such as scissor kicks, while new gear and accessories can be purchased with the money earned from concerts.

    Game rocks!!!

    Rock Revolution for the DS was a pleasant surprise. Game has a ton of different options to offer extended gameplay, with a 4 different career modes. Very entertaining and worth the buy!! It was like bringing Rock Band to the DS!! :)

    Great game!

    Great game! My nieces, who are 7 and 12, and I love it. Good for all ages. Very entertaining. Has 4 songs, then every time you master them, you get 4 more songs and so on (live Guitar Hero, it unlocks new songs). You dont need extra equipment, just the stylus. Highly recommend!

    DAUGHTER LOVE THIS GAME!! FUN GAME!! IT TEACHES YOU HOW TO PLAY THE DRUM, THE GUITAR NOTES AND MORE. WITH THIS GAME, A CHILD CAN'T BE BORED!! GOOD FOR THE ROAD!!

    Not too bad

    This game is ok, but for $3.50 I won't complain LOL The sound on the game is kind of cheesy and is nothing like playing guitar hero. I only bought it because I was given a Nintendo DS but with no games so I was looking for something cheap.

    fun stuff!

    My step daughter got this as her only game for her dsi this xmas. she seemed to love it at 11 years old.
