    Yes it is a cheap plastic External USB 3 Sata drive. Just needed one quickly to use as a bit bigger temp USB storage to utilize my old WD Blue 500gb 2.5 inch Sata Ssd. Just install the drive inside the caddy, plug it in USB and way you go. Perfect for what I paid for and expected this to be.
